Christmas stocking

I participated in a stocking swap for one of my yahoo groups. I just wanted to share the pictures and things of the gifts that I gave! Enjoy!

I even attached her email message :)

A great big thanks goes to Jennifer Peterson!! I received my REALLY BIG Stocking full of goodies today (actually, it was one of those very cool holiday bags…)(12/7) It contained 8 beautiful cards, two cello bags filled to the brim with Reese’s PB Bells, a sweet stamped box (stamped with my favorite stamp set – Loads of Love) again filled with Reese’s – love, love, love it!, two cute memo pads, a little bag of brads (yea!), a very sweet Christmas mug with kitties on it (love that, too!!), and my very favorite, a mini-album/star book ready for pics of my sweetie girls! I’m including pics, because I am a terrible describer. (Sorry the mug isn’t in the pics because my 12 yo~a kitty fanatic~ ran off with it just before I took pics!)

Thanks again, Jennifer, for all of the work and love you put into this swap!!

First tutorial...

I made my first happy harmony card the other day and did something different and was asked how I made it so I will show instructions here....

Cut Cameo Coral Lengthwise at 4 1/4 by 11

Score at 5 1/2
White is 3 by 6 and Lavender Lace is 3 1/2 by 7

Stamp print pattern in lovely lilac onto Cameo Coral cardstock

Stamp Happiness Always on white cs and flowers on bottom

Inside stamp "In everything give thanks" down left hand side... (this stamp is perfect for this)
Stamp Harmony saying on Certainly Celery and adhere to Blush Blossom
Stamp 2 flowers on outside of Lavender Lace. Then adhere Lavender Lace to cs leaving room to see the saying in white and mount harmony saying inside.

Fold White in and leave Lavender Lace on outside add ribbon and you're done.
I used Narrow White Organdy and certainly Celery. I put a piece of certainly celery on either side of the white but not too tight as it will slide so the front card can be re-opened to show greeting.

Christmas cards this year

I have been trying and trying to e-mail these pictures to the yahoo groups that I am in as my December Submissions... Since the emails keep bouncing back, I decided to upload them all here and share them with all of you!

This first one I found a similar one on SCS and this was my version of it. I love this card.
On the inside I have stamped in Silver EP "May peace be more than a season, may it be a way of life". All three of the first ones have that stamped inside.
Peace Be Unto You, Night Of Navy, Bordering Blue, Naturals White, White EP, Dazzling Diamonds

Greetings Galore, Peace be unto you saying inside, Natural White, Real Red, Glorious Green Paper and ink, Black Gingham.

Peace Be Unto You, Print Patterns, Night of Navy, Confetti White, Signo Gel Pen, Silver EP, Sage Shadow, and Narrow White Organdy Ribbon.

This is my third attempt at the Postage Stamp card. I did this at my friend Darla's for our hostess club. I did send this out also. I know that we used the Frosty stamp set, 4 season's paper, whisper white, Stampin' Write markers, and window sheets.

Feedblitz is available if anyone wants to subscribe to my posts... It's on the left hand side at the top... Hope to see you all reading!

New Cards...

These are a few of the cards I have done recently... I used my friend Darla's watercolor pencils for this last card and I love how it turned out! I also used Crystal Effects for what my daughter calls the yellow brick road... Lol!
Enjoy for today and I will post something more substantial tomorrow... Homework for college is hell!

Christmas Cards...

A few days ago I posted the arbor colored with chalks (watercolored) anyways... I have been playing with the design quite a bit and I like it so much better this way with the words "antiqued" a little and the added background.... I also think the glitter here looks better... now if I am going to color it in or not? Hmmmmmm...

I have been working on more Christmas cards....
This is the second type of Christmas cards... I am planning on sending out... I am also planning on designing one or two more types for this year... I am going to be keeping busy that's for sure!

I have been working on more Christmas cards....

New here...

This is one of the most recent items that I made. I absolutely adore this set for thanksgiving type stamping! The name of this set is Give Thanks. I used Stampin' Up!'s chalks for the watercoloring. I like it better this way than with the water color wonder crayons.

I am still relatively new to Stampin' Up and only just became a demonstrator in July,06. I am still trying to learn new techniques and am still in the beginning stages of my business but I am addicted already and love it oh so muches!

I will be posting alot of my artwork here and maybe a few tutorials... Hope you enjoy your stay!
